Vida Wellness has a 24hr cancelation policy. Please note you will be charged the full fee if you fail to cancel your scheduled appointment any less than 24hours prior. We appreciate you understanding the value of our time.

Please be on time for your appointment to ensure you are able to receive your full allotted time.

If possible please print + fill out the Vida Wellness Intake Form prior to your appointment. If for some reason you can’t, no worries, we have them at the studio! Please show up a few minutes early to allow time for this.

How do I prepare for a massage session?

Take a few minutes to pay attention to your body.  Are there any areas that have been causing you physical discomfort? Jot these down and let your practitioner know.  We are here to help!  Also keep yourself hydrated + if possible come in on an empty stomach. 

How often should I get a massage?

This really depends on your individual goals of wellbeing. And though the answer to this is very personal to each individual here are some general guidelines:

If you are recovering from recent injuries:

1-2xs per week depending on your injuries

If you have Chronic Issues:

Depending on the severity of the issue and how ongoing this problem has been 1-2xs a month may be what is needed to get the discomfort under control.  Some things take time to tend to + may require more frequent treatments.  If you have had bad posture for years or repetitive use injuries it will take time to get things to a maintenance level. A good rule of thumb for ongoing chronic issues is 2 sessions / month.  Many find lasting relief on this regimen.

If you are looking for regular maintenance +/or preventative healthcare:

1x/month or more, depending on your situation.   Regular body work + self care is essential to creating lasting changes + a helpful in creating a healthy lifestyle!
